In a mixing bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, lime juice, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until well combined and set aside.
Season the peeled and deveined shrimp with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil until shimmering.
Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and start to caramelize.
Flip the shrimp and pour the honey garlic sauce over them. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring gently to ensure the shrimp are coated and the sauce thickens slightly.
Once the shrimp are cooked through and the sauce is bubbly, remove from heat.
Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro before serving.
