In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, chipotle powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the spice mixture. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp is opaque and cooked through.
While the shrimp is cooking, warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet until flexible, about 30 seconds on each side.
To assemble the tacos, place a few shrimp on each tortilla. Top with shredded red cabbage, a few slices of avocado, and garnish with fresh cilantro.
Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
