Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters. Place these pieces evenly in the greased baking dish.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar until well combined.
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces in the baking dish, ensuring every piece is soaked.
If desired, sprinkle the chopped pecans over the top for added crunch.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
While the casserole is baking, warm the icing that came with the cinnamon rolls in a small bowl for easy drizzling later.
Once the casserole is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes.
Drizzle the warmed icing over the top of the casserole before serving.
Cut into portions and serve warm, topped with whipped cream and fresh berries.
Notes
Serve warm with whipped cream and fresh berries for garnish.
