Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with olive oil.
In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, pesto, and garlic powder until well combined and creamy.
Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish and season them with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides.
Spread the creamy pesto mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the chicken and pesto mixture.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
After 25 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the cheese is bubbly and lightly golden.
Once cooked, remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
