Ingredients
4
cups
fresh corn kernels (about 6-8 ears of corn)
1/4
cup
unsalted butter
1/4
cup
honey
1
teaspoon
sea salt
1/2
teaspoon
freshly cracked black pepper
1
tablespoon
fresh thyme (or 1 teaspoon dried thyme)
2
tablespoons
chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Start by shucking the corn and removing the kernels from the cobs. You can do this by running a sharp knife along the cob, holding it vertically.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, drizzle in the honey, stirring to combine well with the butter.
Add the fresh corn kernels to the skillet and stir to coat them well with the honey butter mixture.
Season the corn with sea salt and black pepper, and sprinkle in the thyme. Stir everything together and reduce the heat to medium-low.
Cook the corn for about 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is tender and slightly caramelized, but still maintains a crisp texture.
Once cooked, remove the skillet from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve warm and consider drizzling extra honey on top for added sweetness.
